Proposal for Auction of Classic Car Collection

Per our recent discussions, please find the following terms for the consignment of the Dean Collection to our Collector Motor Series Auction to be held June 25th at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Alabama: • Henderson Auctions will arrange all transportation and storage of the collection prior to the auction. • We will extensively market the collection nationally and internationally. • We will prepare the collection for auction in order to maximize the sale value but will only make repairs that are agreed to by the seller. • We will auction the collection absolute, without reserve to the highest bidder. • We will charge a seller’s commission of 3% of the hammer price. This is half of our normal commission. The rest of our costs will be covered by the Buyer’s Premium that we charge to all buyers for all lots. On the next page of our proposal, you will find some advertising benchmark dates that are important. We want you to be pleased with the results of the auction. In order to do our best work, we have to meet these deadlines. Most importantly, we cannot begin to work for the best outcome without a signed Auction Agreement.
